Blue Collar Comedy Tour Tickets

NEWS

Blue Comedy Continues On Minus Ron White

Your favorite rednecks are back, Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall, celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Blue Collar Comedy with a nationwide tour!  Country Music Television (CMT) also filmed and aired a two-part special, honoring the group and its achievements.

This time around you will notice the quartet is now a trio.  Ron White will not be returning to the stage as part of Blue Collar Comedy.  For over a year now, Ron White has been out on the road constantly as part of his “Behavioral Problems” tour and feels he has moved in a different comedic direction than his Blue Collar comrades.

Since White blasted onto the scene ten years ago he has been selling out tours and more than 10 million CDs and DVDs, all with a cigar in one hand and a glass of scotch in the other.

In a recent interview, White admits, “I’m really not interested in focusing on just something being clean anymore…”  Ron plans to continue on with his tour as it makes its way across the US for a second time, selling out everywhere.  There is no bad blood between the guys, they are still good friends.  I would not be surprised if the boys do re-unite completely somewhere down the road.

In the meantime, get your Ron White and Blue Collar Comedy tickets before they sell out in a city near you!  Keep checking back for more Blue Collar Comedy news.

Blue Collar Comedy Tour…an introduction

Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall and Ron White have become household names from their Blue Collar Comedy tour, which began in January 2000. Jeff Foxworthy had been around for many years with his comedic CDs about life as a redneck. He’s most known for his “You might be a redneck if…” jokes. Here’s a few of my favorites:

You might be a redneck if… you’re considered an expert on wormbeds. …the taillight covers of your car are made of red tape. …you’ve ever financed a tattoo. …the primary color of your car is bondo.

Larry the Cable Guy is also well-known for his redneck sense of humor, with his signature “Git ‘R Done” catchphrase and one-liners. Bill Engvall tends to joke about everyday life and Ron White, who jokes about smoking and drinking, is also known to drink scotch during his sketches.

In 2007, Bill Engvall got four new comedians—John Caparulo, Reno Collier, Jamie Kaler, Juston McKinney— together for the “Blue Collar Comedy: the Next Generation,” DVD.
